Moonwalk
Doodle Tip #9 Illustrate your thoughts and ideas. Today my kids and I were looking up how to moonwalk on youtube. We discovered that it is a simple illusion that with some practice is an impressive trick, as we all know! Michael Jackson was a musican and a magician! This is a silly doodle but remember doodling is not so serious art! Have fun!

Doodle Bird
Doodle Tip #6 Grab a magazine for inspiration. Flip through the pages and find an object with an interesting shape(I flipped through a home decorating mag and found a picture of a framed bird print). Draw your object of interest and continue doodling around it. Make a decorative border and fill the negative space with shapes or an imaginary landscape.

Tiny Bubbles...
Doodle tip #5 Mix it up a little! Switch your writing implement a few time during your doodle. In this little doodle I used, pencil, black felt tip marker, black ball point pen and colored pencils.
Also mix up your technique. For example use different shading techniques like the tiny bubbles to create a gray value or the smooth blending with a pencil.

Italian bridge
Doodle Tip #4 Get a drawing tablet and stylus fordoodling on the computer (I'll need to get one)
I just found this cool website called Doodlebug
It is an online community of Doodlers! I set up an account as Doodleitup and drew my first doodle. I did this doodle using a mouse, which I found very difficult to control. I looked at a picture of a bridge, that was on an Italian restaurant menu, lying next to me on my desk. I think I may need to get that drawing tablet
Here's my first attempt, click on this.... Italian Bridge
It's pretty cool! You can watch how I drew it in animation mode!
Here's the screen capture of my doodle
